Frontier Innovation Fellowship
The Royal Commission is always on the lookout for ways to support new innovation and entrepreneurship that emerges from our alumni’s work and research. To this end the Mayor of London has launched a new 'Frontier Innovation Fellowship' during the recent London Tech Week. This is a new national programme to support potentially world-changing UK tech at an early stage.
The Fellowship enables L&P to support 10 early-stage companies that are using frontier technologies with a year's equity-free support and access to the best of the Grow London networks, including access to unique corporate innovation group, investor networks and global team. Fidelity Investments (FCAT) team are backing the programme.
Grow London have assured me that this new programme is not a typical accelerator looking to guide founders through the perils of VC, instead its value is in the access to 200+ of the UK’s leading corporate innovation leaders, bespoke access to enterprise, regulatory, and venture clients, and programmatic support to exactly your needs.
If you are have an early start-up, or spinout venture, or are just thinking about it, do take a look and apply if you think its relevant - https://www.grow.london/frontier-innovation-fellowship/apply-now . Please note there is some flexibility on the application deadline for this year – with an anticipated closing date of towards the end of next month.
I hope this will be of value to some of you.
Very warmest regards
John
